The POWER of God’s LOVE! What do we know about His love? We may choose to answer this question with another question:
What was God’s greatest demonstration of His love for mankind?
John 3:16-17 – 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Paul explained in Romans 5:8-9 – 8 But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.9 And since by His blood He did all this for us as sinners, how much more will He do for us now that He has declared us not guilty? Now He will save us from all of God’s wrath to come.
These words “while we were still sinners”, amazes me. Then I saw a footnote in TLB that says, “God sent Jesus Christ to die for us, not because we were good enough, but because He loved us so much. Whenever you feel uncertain about God’s love for you, remember that He loved you even before you turned to Him.”
This should give us encouragement today. We were not created to be thrown by the wayside. Instead, He made a way of escape for us and is allowing us to join Him for eternity, no matter what we have done. What a magnificent Almighty God! If we could allow our finite minds to grasp this, gratitude would overtake us and flow from our hearts and mouths, giving glory to our creator. Although it seems hard for you to keep persevering today, it will be worth it all! Revelation 3:10 – Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. You can find more on this subject in my book “Tea Time With God, Treasures of the Heart”, chapter 32. Order your copy here.
Putting God’s love into human words is unexplainable, but I will attempt to give some clarity to it with the Holy Spirit’s help.
God’s Love Is:
Where and when was the price paid? On the cross.
Who showed compassion? Jesus!
Who was/is the offender? We are.
God promises in His Word that His mercy endures forever!
John 13:34-35TLB – 34 “And so I am giving a new commandment to you now—love each other just as much as I love you. 35 Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
There is a Secret: His love within us compels us to this kind of love. With God filling us with this kind of love, you truly believe you have no enemies.
If you agree with this statement, you have already experienced this kind of love. If you disagree or do not understand this statement, you have more to experience.
Romans 8:38-39 – 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

3 Things God’s love cannot do:
Nothing can prevent God from loving us as we are! He does not evaluate us based on past failings or our present limitations. He sees us in our future and desires to help us get there, walking with us every step of the way.

Power Point
Because of God’s love, we can fully trust Him!
Knowing His love, how much He cares for us, helps us to
“Surrender” ourselves to Him,
to “Surrender” all that concerns us to Him!
