On June 3, 2022, at 3:18 am, the Lord woke me and gave me one word – “Monitoring”.
My husband looked up the meaning of this word and one definition stuck out to me: “To listen to and report on.”
My first response was thinking how we are being watched today, our every word and action being monitored. Everywhere we look there are public cameras watching us. There are reports that our computers, cell phones and smart TVs are listening and watching whether they are on or not. Our opinions and beliefs are being monitored and censored, when have you ever seen the “social media police” so active?
I remembered how God gave my husband multiple visions recently and these visions were of things to come. I reminded him that he has a mandate to share the visions that God gave him, to warn the people of God, which he is doing.
As I walked away from him, my mind went to a home security system and how it works. There is a central control center that “monitors” a home or business, that when an alarm sounds, they contact the correct authorities to investigate.

There are many self-appointed “prophets” speaking out words today, we must be reminded of the warnings in the Word of God:
Luke 21:8 – And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.
1 Peter 4:11 – If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Therefore, make it your obligation to listen to God’s voice first. Yes, I realize there are true prophets speaking and God’s spirit will give you discernment when He is speaking through men. But, if you are in an intimate relationship with the trinity yourself, you will hear God’s voice for yourself. Pursue JESUS and the Spirit of Truth, God’s Holy Spirit, will readily guide you.
Most of us are quick to pray, but how many of us sit still long enough to listen for a reply or response from God Himself?
I have been asking God, “Why the word MONITORING?”
Today I finally sat still long enough to hear His voice. “Thank You Lord for Your answer!”
Newscasters and Field Reporters monitor all activities to decide what to report on. They believe it is their obligation to report the news. As Christians, we are to monitor the signs of the times and report on it. We are to be watchmen for the Lord.
We should believe it is our obligation to:
Our central control center is the Holy Spirit. I am not diminishing Him from His rightful place, I am acknowledging how He works in the discussion of “Monitoring”. John 17:7-19 identifies Him as the Spirit of Truth, therefore, when we are uncertain of what is being broadcast, HE reports the truth to us and gives us discernment as confirmation.
—
Luke 12:37a – Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching.
Luke 12:40 – Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
1 Peter 4:7 – But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
1 Corinthians 16:13 – Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
Revelation 16:15a – “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches.”
2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

If you have never asked Jesus into your heart, or you want to ensure you are ready to hear that last trumpet call and meet Jesus in the air (referring to the rapture), I invite you to say this prayer:
My God, my Father, forgive my sins and cleanse my heart. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and I pray now that Your Holy Spirit will guide me from this day forward. Open my heart and ears to know the truth of Your Word and to discern the times that I am living in. May Your voice be strong within my ears and heart that I will not miss it. Help me to hold on to You Jesus, no matter what is happening around me, help me to trust You, help me to always remember that all hope lies in You. Thank you for salvation and for the promise, my blessed hope, of living with You in eternity. May I bless YOU with the life you have given me. In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN!
