I Must Tell Jesus!

I knew it was time to write a monthly blog and nothing in particular was on my heart, yet so much was.  Suddenly I started singing the song, “I Must Tell Jesus” and I ran to get the hymn book for the verses.  I started exclaiming, “YES, that is the answer for all the people that are on my heart today.  They must tell JESUS their troubles, they must tell JESUS what is on their hearts and minds.  HE is their answer, HE is their help, JESUS alone!”

I truly love the worship songs we sing today, but I grew up singing from the hymn books and they still invigorate me.

This song, “I Must Tell Jesus” was written by E. A. Hoffman.  If you are currently going through troubling times, allow the Spirit of God to speak to you as you read some content from this song.

Verse:

I must tell Jesus all of my trials;

I cannot bear these burdens alone;

In my distress He kindly will help me;

My friend, if we would just carry all of our cares, concerns, temptations, guilt, and shame to Jesus and give it all to Him, He exchanges it all with His peace!  As the song says, He alone is our help.  In one sweeping motion, give it all to Him today and receive His love and peace!
