Thanksgiving may not look the same this year because of Covid-19. With the CDC limiting family gatherings and travel, plans are being changed to accommodate the spread of this epidemic. There are others working the front lines that need to be at work, missing the feast around their own family table.
No matter where you are this Thanksgiving, I encourage you to have a grateful attitude for even the smallest of blessings. Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.” Having a merry heart heals our soul.
God’s mercies are new every morning, He will always be faithful in showing us a glimmer of hope in our trying times.
So, let us not spend our time in sadness, worry or fear. May we establish a happy heart by filling it with GRATITUDE TO GOD, from whom all blessings flow!
Psalms 92:1-2TLB
1It is good to say thank you to the Lord, to sing praises to the God who is above all gods.
2 Every morning tell Him, “Thank you for Your kindness,” and every evening rejoice in all His faithfulness.
